Our collection comprises of hand-finished textiles, garments and accessories created using some of the richest natural yarns and indigenous techniques.
These are crafted by skilled artisans using traditional weaving techniques, often on primitive wooden pit and frame looms. The printing process leverages the ancient and intricate practice of hand-chiselled wooden blocks with hand-drawn screens.
We work mostly on fine natural fibres, hand-spun in the local villages nearby. Fabrics are woven using hand-spun cotton, local silks, linen, hemp and wool. A lot of stress is laid on maintaining a high quality standard without loosing the character of the fabric - the process from printing and sewing to finishing is done under one roof.
Honouring unique ideas, working together, producing a one-of-a-kind collection is our way at Maasis to thank you for your collaboration and trust in us.
